High School Announcements:

Purple Shirt Day

  • Physical abuse: A child is at the risk of or has suffered physical harm inflicted by a person having charge of the child. Possible signs equal injuries that are not consistent with explanation, presence of several injuries that are in various stages.  Wear a purple shirt on Wednesday, October 24th and bring awareness to child abuse.

Student Council

  • Today Grade 9 forms to join student council are available. They are due Friday, October 19th.  There are 2 spots up for grabs.  Good luck grade 9’s!

St. Mary’s SPOOKTACULAR

  • A reminder to all students participating in the St. Mary’s SPOOKTACULAR to meet in room 171 at lunch today.

Envirothon Team

  • Any grade 9-12 student with on interest in learning about the environment is invited to room 220 at lunch to join the school’s envirothon team.

X-Country Team

  • Congratulations to all High School x-country runners on an excellent result yesterday at Lanark County. The team finished 2nd  The midget boys and midget girls placed 2nd and the junior boys finished 1st.  Best of luck to all at EOSSAA next week.

School Production

  • Anyone interested in being involved in this year’s musical production of “Legally Blonde” should be at our information meeting today at the beginning of lunch. High school students meet on the stage.

Student Council

  • Today Grade 9 forms to join student council are available. They are due Friday, October 19th.  There are 2 spots up for grabs.  Good luck grade 9’s!

St. Mary’s SPOOKTACULAR

  • A reminder to all students participating in the St. Mary’s SPOOKTACULAR to meet in room 171 at lunch today.

Guatemala Coffee House

  • Great evening last night at the coffee house. Thank you performers and audience.  The Guatemala Team appreciates your support last night.

Senior Girls Basketball

  • Congratulations to the sr. girl basketball team for their dominant victory over Almonte yesterday. The entire team contributed on both ends of the floor.  Great job!  Reminder of the mandatory practice Monday at 2:30.

  • This May Notre Dame presents “Legally Blonde: The Musical”. All interested actors, singers, tech crew, crafts people or anything else needs to attend out information meeting tomorrow at the beginning of lunch.  High school students: meet on the stage.  7 & 8 students meet in Mr. Gallagher’s room.

DID YOU KNOW?

  • 38% of the recipients of food from the Lanark County Food Bank are children. And did you know that the food bank does not just provide non-perishable items but they also provide meat, eggs, and fresh produce.  They need cash donations – in addition to canned and boxed food items – to help provide nutritious food for families in need.  This week, support the food bank by bringing in donations!

Important – Date Change – Uniform Sale

The Used Uniform Sale has been rescheduled to Tuesday, September 4th from 4 to 8 pm. The sale was originally scheduled for Wednesday, August 8th but due to circumstances beyond our control will now be hosted on Tuesday, September 4th. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or stress this may cause.


Used Uniform Sale

There will be a Used Uniform Sale on Wednesday, August 8th from noon to 7 pm in the cafeteria.  Please note that cash and debit will be accepted.

All high school report cards have now been mailed out.  If you owe books or money to the school please clear this up through SchoolCash Online before the new year.  Have a great summer.
