Direct to the Workforce

Here are some links to local, provincial and national job sites:

Canadian Career Academy
On Bridge Street in Carleton Place, the CCA offers an Employment Resource Centre. The Employment Resource Centre provides a variety of Employment Ontario services for adults and youth. They offer information on careers and occupations, employment trends and the local job market, to job search strategies and training opportunities. If you are looking for a résumé critique, career direction, job search support or to find out what Employment Ontario programs are available for you, they can help with that and work with you to reach your employment goals.

Youth Job Connect
The Youth Job Connect program is a partnership between Employment Ontario and Algonquin College and is based in Lanark County. This program is for unemployed youth aged up to 29 who are out of school. The program provides paid job readiness training and is excellent for youth who may have some barriers to employment or who have not worked before.
