Graduation Awards

ND Chaplaincy sponsors the St. James Perseverance Award which recognizes a student who showed commitment, hard work, and a continued effort to achieve despite obstacles they may have faced along the way. Similar to the message of the Apostle James, their dedication and determination to succeed will ensure their future success.
 
The local Catholic community sponsors the following awards
  • St. Mary’s Catholic Women’s League of Almonte Bursary - awarded to a graduate of Holy Name of Mary Parish in Almonte who has consistently demonstrated Christian leadership
  • Larry Ryan Scholarship -  established in memory of Larry Ryan who was a great believer in the value of higher education, hard work, and the merits of Christian living; the recipient is a member of Holy Name of Mary Parish in Almonte and exhibits these same ideals
  • Knights of Columbus, Dr. J.F. Dunn Council 51, Bursary - awarded to a graduating member of St. Mary’s Parish in Carleton Place who has demonstrated a commitment to academic studies, earned the respect of peers, and reflects strong community values in his or her school life
  • Catholic Women’s League Bursary, St Mary’s Parish, Carleton Place - awarded to a graduate who reflects the values of our Christian faith in his or her everyday interactions in the school community (an application is required)
