Orange Shirt Day

Friday, October 30th is a day to the remember Indigenous children who were sent to residential schools and never returned home, as well as to honour Residential School Survivors, their families, communities, and all affected by the residential school system.

Running Club

Running Club is Mondays and Wednesday after school starting Sept 19th. Anyone can join, no need to compete or be worried about ability. Cross Country team will be participating too. Sign up Tuesday Sept 13 at lunch in room 217 or send Mr. Snow a Teams Chat.

Volunteer Opportunity

The Carleton Place Canadians are looking for a few volunteers to help out after school in the locker rooms. If you are interested in hockey and need some community hours, this is a great spot for you. Please see Mrs. Verge in Guidance for details and information.​

Week 1/Week 2 Schedule

This year we are on a Week1/Week 2 schedule. This means that one week, your classes will be in one order and the next week your classes will be in reverse order. This is applies to both elementary and secondary students.​

New Drivers Ed Course

For all students looking to take Drivers Ed this fall, the sign-up sheet is in the office. The new course starts on Sept 28th. More info is available in the main office.​

Bus Stop Finder Tool

STEO'S bus stop finder tool is now available. Details on how to create an account and access to the parent portal can be found at under tools/bus stop finder information.

The Uniform Shop is Re-Opening!

Beginning May 31st, the in-school uniform shop will be open. The shop will operate a bit differently, as it is now a “fit shop”. Students will be able to come and view available uniform options, try items on and confirm size. Orders can then be placed online at A laptop will be available at the shop to complete online orders as well. Please contact the school with any questions you may have.

Back to School Bash

Friday, Sept 9th is our Back to School Bash for all HS students during Period 4! You will have the chance to talk to teachers about the activities we offer here at ND. You will go to your P4 class for the first half hour and then get to spend the rest of the afternoon outside listening to music, eating freezies and signing up for extra-curricular activities. The Athletic Council will also be selling drinks and snacks, so bring some money if you would like to buy yourself a treat!
